Full Colour Second Screen
The second screen means you can display your message on the rear of the device, improving communication in a range of environments and situations.
Eye Gaze Ready
Turn your Grid Pad 15 into a robust a dedicated eye gaze device with a purpose-built eye gaze module. Available with Smartbox Lumin-i and Alea IntelliGaze eye tracking technology and will also be available with the upcoming Irisbond Hiru.
We also have bespoke mounting plates for use with a range of other eye trackers.
Switch and USB Devices
There are two built-in ports for switches, and two USB ports to use with any other type of alternative access, such as a joystick, trackball, HeadMouse Nano or Quha Zono.
Auditory Feedback
The headphone socket can be used for auditory feedback, useful for people with visual impairment. In Grid 3, this enables you to hear what a cell will say before you choose to select it.
Antimicrobial Technology
Grid Pad 15 is built with an antimicrobial casing and screen to inhibit the growth of bacteria and spread of viruses. The Sanitized® technology embedded within the device helps to keep it cleaner for longer – perfect for clinical settings.
This material has not yet been tested on COVID-19, however it has been successfully tested against similar viruses including Influenza, Avian flu and SARS.
Tough Touchscreen Display
Grid Pad 15 has a 15.6” HD touchscreen, with a hardened glass display. The antiglare finish helps to reduce reflections and makes it easier to see the screen when you are out and about.

Grid Pad 15 has a fast i5 Intel processor, 8GB RAM and a 256 GB solid state hard drive. Perfect for communicating quickly, running complex grid sets with lots of cells and using Computer Control.
All Day Battery
Grid Pad 15 is designed to help you communicate all day long. The large 148 Wh battery provides up to 14 hours continuous use (9 hours with eye gaze).
For comparison the iPad 10.2″ has a 32.9 Wh battery.

Designed for voice reproduction, the integrated speakers are engineered to produce high quality sound and volume, to help get your message across effectively wherever you are.
Mounting Options
Easily mount your device to a wheelchair, desk or floor stand with the Grid Pad dual mounting plate, compatible with Daessy and Rehadapt mounting systems.
Environment Control
Control everyday items around your home with any access method. Turn on a light, change the channel on TV, open doors and much more. It works by sending signals via a transmitter in your Grid Pad to receivers around your home.
Powered by Grid
Grid 3 is the software behind every Grid Pad, with dedicated apps for communicating, controlling your environment, message banking, browsing the internet, using social media, sending emails and text messages, listening to music and more. You’ll find a wide range of AAC resources, designed for people of all ages and different levels of literacy.
Note for Windows 11
Grid Pad 15 was developed before the release of Windows 11 and is not currently compatible.
Support for Windows 10
Windows 10 will officially be supported by Microsoft until October 2025.
